you could add a filter to achieve the same effect.

sorry for the dirty lens. i used the same settings for both shots, how come difference SO great? lens quality?

Aperture: 8.0
Shutter: 2s

If the shutterspeed is exactly the same for both, then we can safely say what you pay is what you get...but looking at the star-burst effect for the G2 version, I suspect the exposure time for the G2 is a wee bit longer? ;)

You can have that effect by adjusting your shuttle slower...
