i am thinking of an upgrade but don know what to get
1)60D with 18-200
2)7D with 18-135
3)7D with 15-85

60D the material of the body is plastic right?

7D is magnesium?

i prefer go to 7D than 60D if the material of the body still plastic :)

of the 3, i think i will go for 3) but i got 2) instead cos i figured i want the reach more.

i gonna replace the kit lens soon, so doesnt matter much really.

in a nutshell if you like:

-swivel screen - go 60D
-weighty magnesium alloy body - go 7D
-fast frame rates - go 7D
-a lower price but willing to sacrifice some features - go 60D

anyway, what are you using now?

usually i would advise upgraders of the same camp to go 7D and first time owners to go 60D.

but for you, you are switching camp, so i aint too sure either.

wut sharpness thing?

7d review got comment about it's sharpness is less sharp than 50D~ 5D...
need to set sharpness +2 to achieve similar sharpness

haha guys so what you guys recommend for me?? i seriously am stuck!!!!

actually it all depends on whether you really need those extra goodies that is found on a 7D.... most of which I suppose are not required by many.... if you need them then it will be a 7D without a doubt... else get a 60D body... then coupled it with a lens of your choice...

pixel peeping hurts my eyes.

Haha, guess u r really wrecked....Why dont you go to the shops and have a feel of both cams and understand more on each specs before you decide? Better still, if you have friends who have either cams, go loan from them to shoot. See what suits you best. ;)

and i just wanna ask when u buy kit lens with camera does it comes with lens hood?? for my sony case is no.....

think the main differences could be found here...

15-85 is a higher grade lens as compared to the 18-135... so you can be sure the IQ(sharpness, colors, bokeh etc) will be better... it has an extra 3mm on the wide end... and of course has USM.... I believe the IS system is the same: both up to 4 stops (someone correct me if I am wrong)...
