I used to live in Singapore for 6 years.
I am going to be there in February 15th and renting all my gears from CameraRental near Middle Road.
Canon 5D for 6 days
Canon EF 17-40mm L for the first three days
Canon EF 70-200mm L/F4 I.S
First three days: 17-40mm lens
Quickly on top of my head will be dawn(just minutes before the sun shows) at esplanade, clark quay, boat quay for the first three days. Just minutes after dusk at the same place. I want to capture the dark blue sky against the bright lights and reflections from the water. Will be tripod mounted on Gitzo series 1300 carbon fiber with ball head 1500 magnesium.
around 2 pm shoot in colorful places with wide angle zoom: Little India, ChinaTown.
Please suggest other places with wild wacky colors or good wide angle shot such as skyline, I'm thinking about around Raffles Place?
Next three days: 70-200mm lens
Jurong Bird Park, Botanical Garden, Sentosa.
Maybe last day I want to mess around with 14mm Fisheye
Please suggest other places, I have limited time but travelling in Singapore is pretty swift.
Thank you so much!
