5dii raw files with photoshop cs2?

Hi

Does anyone know if CS2 can be used to processe RAW files taken with the 5dII? I will be hesitant to upgrade if I need to upgrade my Photoshop CS as well.

I think only CS4 can be used to process 5D2 RAW files with Adobe Camera Raw.

frankchn, what do u use to process your raw pics? given that u r using 5dII?

CS2 will never be able to process RAW files from the 5D2. Adobe won't even update CS3 to handle 5D2's RAW so like frankchn said, only CS4 can do it. There are many other software that can handle 5D2's RAW. CS4 is expensive but the student edition is very cheap (if you are a student), Aperture 2 is pretty affordable too. If you really want free, Canon includes DPP for free to process your RAW into JPG then you can edit with your CS2.

I was "forced" to upgrade to CS4 to process my 5D2 raw.

CS4 is too ex, I cannot justify paying and upgrading.

U can download the free Adobe DNG converter and then work the DNG files in ur CS2.
