55-200mm f4.5-5.6 II USM?

Hi,

anyone using this len? I bought it just to add on to my kit lens...i am not sure if this is a good lens...recently(after i bought it) i saw on the review that it gives some vignetting and a bit distortion on the telephoto side...

so anyone got this problem? or no one have this len?

anyway i know it is old thread...but then anyone can recommend a third party len which covers a range from wide angle to telephoto side? i am not doing any macro...more on landscape and abstract kind of street shot. I own a canon 400d and do i need to buy any adapter to fix a third party len on it?

please advise....thanks alot

no need... just look for a canon mount...

using sigma 18-200 here... a great everyday lens....
