Has anyone ever sent their 50mm for calibration?

My 50mm suffers from front focusing. Damn jia lat, alot of photos all the rear in focus, and i swear my af point was correct! :( very frustrating, alot of wasted shots.

I have tried adjusting that lens before, not successful.
The 50mm F1.8D does not have provision for front/back focus adjustment
Most likely, adjustment will be done on your camera.

Well, I could be wrong. best is to check with NSC

Was told by one NSC man that AFD lens cannot do calibration. The only option he recommeded me was to use AF fine tune on camera body.

So it's time to upgrade to the G (=Good) lens ;)

Thanks for sharing

haha, i also share this lens with my nikon FE. so cannot use G :(

If really back-focus, you can try to compensate by focusing on a closer subject and use the focus lock
