The fact that all their latest introductions include a pentax mount says alot about the momentum Pentax is gaining. In fact, some recent models are introduced in pentax mount first. Good work Sigma but I am wondering if pentax users want to pay extra for the stabilization when they have built-in SR. Would help if they sold a cheaper non-OS version.
The 85 f/1.4 looks veryyyyyyyyy interesting! :)

the 85 is interesting.... they should have done that long ago...

anyway nice to have alternatives....

lets see any reaction from pentax to come up with new offerings, else everybody will be buying into sigma lenses...

i dig the bulging front element very much :bsmilie:
bulging front element.... :)
Hope they have slip on filter assembly like those for sigma fish eye.

But hey! it's 8mm or 12mm equivalent, use it for potraits and will make your face looks like it comes from outer space... :bsmilie:

The 8-16 is intriguing. Wonder how it handles distortion at the wide end. Though I think it'll cost 1.2K at least.

The 85 is a welcomed alternative, but I'll be happy with Pentax older but smaller 85 line-up. :)
