46 inch LCD/Plasma to recomend?

Hi Guys,

My projection TV just went into retirement, looking to get a LCD or Plasma that is 46 or 47 inch.

No need fancy HD or other frills. :bsmilie:

Anyone got experience with some of these? Prices, stores?

For Plasma, you can't go wrong with Panasonic.

For LCD, go with Samsung or Sony. But since the Sony price her in SG is really crazy (double the price!!!) go with Samsung.

i have the 42" Panasonic plasma hd-ready...picture-wise is good & it comes with 2 hdmi ports...i guess u need more hdmi ports in future...

Best plasma TV I have seen is Pioneer Kuro. For LCD TV , I like Sharp Aquos.

Yes, and the next generation is LED.....forgot the exact name. Uses LED if I am not mistaken.....

Sony and Samsung share the same factory by the way, and Philips and LG used to share
