the horizon seems tilted in the second and third shots; i find it disturbing and distracting.

but, nice deep blue in the sky in the second shot; did you use a polariser? looks like you used a wide angle in the second shot; the distortion near the bottom is quite pronounced.

and, nice, high contrasts in the third shot. may i know how you shot your b&w? digital? film?

The horizon is not tilted in the 2nd shot, its just barrel distortion. Agree that its very pronounced.
No polariser used.
I shot the BW using digital and used photoshop's channel mixer.
