Anyone has experience using 3rd party ink?

I am using Epson 810 printer and has recently tried Calidad colour ink. The result is close to Epson original ink but not sure about the life-span. Going to try Sepoms ink as it can be refilled.

Cost of using 3rd party ink can be as much as 50-60% lower than using original.

Thanks

I think for epson printer better don't use 3rd party ink. Such 3rd party ink damage the print head. As we know epson can't change the print head. Unlike HP and canon.

????

Epson printheads are changed at >$150 each time at the service center.

Canon printheads are user replaceable.

Most HP printheads are replaced together with cartridges.

For HP printers, it is safe to use refills, as the inkheads are together with the cartridges.

I am using Inktec refills, and they work flawlessly with my HP 930C. so far, there has been no printhead clogging or anything....

But for Epson printers, DON"T EVER use refills ever on them.. as the print heads are extremely prone to clogging.
2 of my relative's printers went "koyak" after using refills....
