u need two battery for sure using 3rd party price are less then org but the pic qtr you can take is less then org battery

Get a spare originals..... 3rd party can vary in terms of the batt quality......

hmmm just wondering how much is a spare orginal anyway?

Which model ? ENEL3, ENEL9, etc.... ?

D60 uses ENEL9

$65 (HN-BB, Jul07 - fusetrips) | $60 (CP, Nov07 - racoon31e)

please read the price list.

Get from Eastgear, I remember it is less than $30.

There has been a lot of discussion on this, and really, do get the originals. You do get what you pay for. 3rd party batts may seem to have better specs (like higher mAh rating), but in reality they don't last as long as originals. It's really hit-or-miss. Some batches may be good, but some are absolutely lousy. They may be dead out of the pack, or just die suddenly 3 months down the road.

Don't take the risk, lah. Your camera so good, why power it with some dubious source?
