u have captured the detail and composure but not the composition .. would be better to be taken lower angle :)

Caught these guys on Pulau Ubin, so just showing some not so common butterflies.

These guys are very skittish, always flying and landing all over the place. Nothing like the hunt. Hard to avoid the cluttered background or weird shooting angles unfortunately.

I like the 2nd specie, reallt not common. :)
 

Wah jason... swee man!... agreed with mega need to compose better but i think u are too execited with new but into your collection kekekekeke :D
 

Good captures there Jason. :thumbsup: The butt in the 2nd shot is indeed a rarely seen specimen. And he is right...these butts are normally very skittish kind and hard to approach, let alone let you snap them... :D
 

Nice catch. Glad to see u back in action.

Well, when out in the wild forest (I was there too), it's not easy to find good background and composition.
