Do they make a difference? Im currently using a 4mp olympus point and shoot digicam. Would like to switch to Powerex batteries and charger but were confused abt the 2500 and 2700. :dunno:

The difference is simply in the capacity. A 2700 mAh battery should last longer than a 2500 mAh battery. Everything else is the same.

Probably due to this strain in customers' confidence, some retailers have switched to selling the powerex instead. For now, both the powerex 2500 n 2700 have no known problems.
To TS, the difference between the 2500 and 2700 is only a few dollars, bout 5 at most (for a set of 4), if ur not on a tight budget, might as well get the higher capacity ones. Afterall you dont know when you might actually run out of juice..
