Hi pple! I am currently using a Canon 60D camera. Does any one of you here have a picture taken with a 24-105 and 18-135? I/ve heard review about 24MM on a 1.6 cropbody is not wide enough. I/m contemplating whether should i buy 24-105 or to stick with my 18-135 on my camera...
Any advices? thank you in advance :)

24-105 and 18-135 is a very diff lens. one cost 4x more then another one. i could re comment you keep your 18-135 and buy some other prime lenses with money you needed top up if you want a better image quality.

if i remember correctly, both are kit lenses... 18-135 is a kit lens for 550D, 60D, 7D...etc at f3.5-5.6.... The 24-105 on another hand, also a kit lens, but for 5DMkII... it is L lens, but the price is about 3-4x higher...
24mm ultimately not too bad when you see the IQ that the L lens deliver...

Keep the 18-135mm and get a good & fast prime lens in the focal length you shoot most. I'd recommend that. Use the prime lens for the most part to get your best image quality and light intake/background blur. Keep the kit as your backup to cover range.

You're not making the most of the 24-105L if you're not on full frame. Even the 17-55mm F2.8 is a better buy on the crop body.

It really depends on what you're shooting and your shooting style. If you never go below 24mm and above 105mm with your 18-135mm lens then maybe you can get the 24-105mm. And the 24-105 is also sharper and has a constant aperture value.

If u want to see a comparison shot of those 2 lens at same focal point (handheld), I have about 2 or 3 of them (but have to search back). You can really tell the difference in output tho, as in the glare/contrast control. I changed from 18-135 to 24-105 bcoz of the image quality difference n bcoz I hardly went below 24mm
