21Aug Sunday: Casual Street Shoot “Golden Triangle” + Area around Arab Street
1.30pm till around 8pm+; will wrap up for dinner near Haji Lane.
All are welcome; compact camera, iphone, DSLR, micro 4/3… shoot also can
limt to 20ppl, will stop head count on 19Aug night 9pm.
20Aug, i attending a workshop then "brother" for my frenz's ROM & reception, likely not online whole day.
If we get too big a group, will spilt into smaller sub-groups.
Area 1, “Golden Triangle”:
Golden Mile Food Centre (Army Market) >>> Golden Mile Complex (Little Thailand) >>> Golden Mile Tower
I realised that Golden Mile Complex was called a “vertical slum”
but from a urban planning & architecture viewpoint, it is a work of beauty for a multi-purpose building. Only a few of such “expermental building” was built in the world

Some of u might be frequent movie goer at Golden Mile Tower… for err…..certain type of movies….
From Area 1, we can easily stroll over to Area 2 along Beach Road (Toward City Direction)
Area 2, Area around Arab Street:
Kampong Glam Conservation Area/Sultan Mosque >>> Haji Lane
I understand there’s an other group that shooting in Arab Street Area on 13Aug. Maybe they can provide some tips & advise here?
If I am not wrong, After Ramadan/Hari Raya; this area will start some redevelopment & add multi-storey carpark. Hence should go before the landscape change.

Meeting Arrangement:
Time: 1.30pm (will only wait for 15min for late comer, need to be fair to ppl on time)
Location: Golden Mile Food Centre
I will be eating lunch at one of the famous Beef Kway Teow at #01-89.
I will be wearing a Blue/White “UCLA” cap

We will not entertain those that do not provide mobile number, since we need number to facilitate the event.
Crowd Management; to avoid lost time due to "Lost Sheep" when we spread out for shoot at vary locations:
** “"gathering points" en route; refer to landmarks stated in Area 1 & 2 at top.
1) "Gathering Points" along the planned Route,
ppl can spread out but gather @ stated time.
2) Buffer for waiting for late comers finite at 15min
have to be fair to ppl on time.
3) ppl who can't make at original time.
make arrangement with us to meet at "gathering points" en route, at certain time.
set 15min buffer for waiting also.
