2 religious exhibitions at Suntec

a) The Inter-Religious Organisation, Singapore (IRO) together with the China ’-Singapore Religious and Cultural Exhibition Committee and major religious & civic institutions in China and Singapore is organising an Exhibition at the Suntec City Convention Hall from 15- 22nd December 2009. This event is in conjunction with the 60th Anniversary of the Inter-Religious Organisation, Singapore .

The Exhibition will showcase some of the rare religious relics and artifacts from the five major religions in China (Buddhism, Islam, Catholicism, Protestantism and Taoism) which will be complemented by religious artifacts from all the major religions in Singapore . The Exhibition’s theme is Together, Towards a Better World – Harmony, Friendship and Progress. This week-long event will also feature live performances and inter-faith Seminar to better understand each other’s religions and faiths and promote peace and harmony.

The KMSPKS Zen Drum Club will be performing on the 20 Dec! Come listen to their energetic piece!

b) The 5th International Buddha's Relics Arts & Cultural Exhibition, to be held from 30 Dec 09 to 3 Jan 10 at the Suntec Convention Centre, Halls 401 - 404.

There were Yun nan tribal dances today. Too bad, I din bring my camera. There will be Taichi performances, Zen drum performance by Bright Hill Monastery, not sure whether it's on sat or sun. The exhibition shows exhibits of not just Buddhism, Islam, Catholicism, Protestantism and Taoism, features some other religions as well.
