2 bodies+prime vs Zoom lens

I prefer primes in most situations for its minimal distortion and sharpness except landscape and nature for which I use non

That's one option. Or both primes ie 24mm f1.4 and 50mm f1.4

I've not seen a videographer double-wield like photogs can. I guess there would be way too much movement? Also tend to be setup for different angles, which I'm sure you would be more than familiar with

Usual setup for r-n-g video
Cam A - Zoom 24-70 (handheld)
Cam B - Zoom 70-200 (from back of venue)

Lens changes during event
Cam A - 50 or 85 (during lull periods in the event where there's luxury of time)
Cam B - 24-70 or 16-35 for gimbal and slider duties

For stills I've done:
Cam A - 24-70
Cam B - 50 or 85

I'm running solo with a mix of gopros, camcorders and A7S.
Default lens is 24-240mm. Details shot on old Nikon AI 50mm, 135mm. On slider: Samyang 14mm
Stage is covered with AX100 on master and audience with W850 on PTZ remote control + gopro.
Close ups with either A7s or NX30.

Now thinking of ditching all the camcorders and switching to FZ2000 and EOS M5 when they come to market.
I'm shopping for EF-S and EF-M lenses so looking for some advise.
Will still carry one A7s body for emergency and low-light venue.
Still doing the math of how much weight I can shed from my "SBO"
But I fear it might get even heavier with Canon glass!

my experience is depending either indoors / outdoors:

zoom - configuration
body 1 + 24-70mm
body 2 + 70-200mm

prime - configuration
body 1 + 28mm / 35mm
body 2 + 85mm / 135mm

mixed body - prime configuration
Body 1: Full Frame / FX
Body 2: APS-C / DX
2 primes : 35mm (~50mm) / 85mm (~135mm)

the last configuration I can think of require 3 bodies
body 1 + 24-70mm
body 2 + 70-200mm
body 3 + lens change (16-35mm / 11-24mm / 14mm / 35mm / 85mm / 100mm macro / 135mm)

this way, the third body is used for artistic shoots and reduce the risk of damage to body 1 and 2 when doing running and gunning

In my events photography shoot, I always have 3 sets on me.

1dx + 16-35 2.8
1dx + 70-200 2.8
1dx + 85 1.2


the 16-35 and 70-200 sets are hung on my neck, while the 85 set is stored in my backpack for use when needed.
It looks heavy, but if you are a seasoned shooter, the weight is normal.

I started on a nice set of primes. I tried a few zooms and still own one that I use every now and then usually a grab and go situation. I use mainly primes and have sort of always been this way
I tried to get on with the zooms (and crop cameras) but they just don't really do it for me anymore.

I usually have two cameras at all times.
