1st time taking animal pics, harsh critiques/comments needed....

Not bad for first shots... in fact much better than mine. :cry:

I'm using Olympus E-1 with 50-200mm lens.

People always say its the photographer's skill which produces good shots, not
the camera.

To me, it is not true :p The camera is definately the "photographer" for my
case :p
 

the camera is only the tool that the photographers uses to capture the image / attitude / spirit of the moment. quite impressive, i like the composition some of the pictures... mind you, these comments coming from a fellow ameture!! :bsmilie:

I feel like you captured the Animals in their natural state very well. The only thing I saw was in the last photo you shot, there are 2 seprate themes there. The Flowers or the Singapore Zoo sign. My eyes want to focus on the Flowers, but realy I want to focus in on the Zoo sign.

Just a thought :) I realy enjoyed them a lot.

Just look at what you want to see lah...hehe....actually just wanted to
try out how shallow was the DOF at f2.8.
