wah, tats so expensive... For $2500-2700, it can buy the 70-200 F2.8 IS, or 2 X 17-40L. Tats quite a bomb. And why is Canon so mischievous as not to include the hood? Are they trying to prove they are forgetful or tell the buyer that what you paid ($2500) is not good enough to give a hood? :dunno:

It seems that either the hood is not ready yet or the information released is not accurate. Hopefully it comes with the hood.......

that's like $700 more expensive than v1! i guess the only way is to compare the two lens and see if the difference is worth it.

Good choice ... I have a 85 f1.8 too but sold in Dec.. might get another copy again to cover an event.. best for indoor lowlight seminar type events where flash is not allowed :thumbsup:
