can i have ideas where i can source for 127 film cheaply and perhaps locally? have checked out online and the shipping is a kill.

Don't think any of the local shops carry any, some might not have even heard about it.
It is consider quite a rare format even during the film era. Just like 220 film.
Cheap will be a far away word to associate with it, consider if you could find any here.
