12-24 or 17-55 nikoor lense

Hi all ,maybe this question had ben ask b4 for cannot find in the search link thats why I post to ask.;p
Which is more use for wedding and potrait shoots.Had tried both and both give good results but can't affort to buy both.

17-55 obviously. 12-24 is not quite suited to shoot people because of the perspective distortion.

yap, second that opinion.
the 12-24 is more suitable for landscapes, though i have shot with it for weddings.
gives a different perspective.

with the 17-55, gives u more flexibility.
