1000d unable to trigger

Hi

Need help my camera unable to trigger. It show a blank screen. When i attached the lenses, it able to focus but not able to trigger. Anyone know what is the problem and how do i overcome it.

Do you mean you on your camera, but the LCD does not display what you are gonna shoot?

Able to focus can either mean the camera's attempting to focus or able to lock focus. Is the focus locked or is the AF motor constantly focusing (focus hunting)?

Standard procedure,

Step 1:

Take out battery, insert it in again (remember to switch off your camera before doing step 1), switch on camera and try again.

Step 2:

If step 1 don't work, remove your lens, and reinsert again, might be because you did not insert properly, then try again.

Step 3:

If Step 2 don't work, remove the lens, and change another lens to try.

Step 4:

Still cannot... bring down to CSC to check.
