Remember hearing somewhere that underexposing a half-stop or two-thirds of a stop yields greater colour saturation and overexposing a half-stop yields greater shadow detail. Or something like that. Would like to find out more about this so does anyone have any info to share?

Are you shooting film, slide film, B+W film, or digital?

Yes,
