Either you get a cheaper scanner to do manual scanning or you invest a very expensive colour scanner/printer with auto feeder (my company using it). I myself don't dare to use the auto feeder because I don't want to risk scatching my photos by the auto feeder mechanism or worst, the photos stuck...
