Just got a S100 this weekend. Brought it out for a walk today, I love it! but the battery didn't last very long (as expected from what I've read!). Really enjoyed it though!

Judging from the photographs, what went wrong? Was it because I pushed 2 years expired Delta 3200 to 6400 in stock Microphen for 12 minutes? or were my exposures just bad?

Has anyone here had any success in installing Coolscan V on Windows 7 x64? It can't find drivers :( I googled and some people suggested installing on a Virtualmachine (VMware), or using Vuescan. I like Nikon Scan and not keen on unnecessarily buying more software if I can get it working here.
