    ok thanks bro. would've done a better ps job at home. now in office, and did a quick editing to prevent being spotted. would be nice to learn from the Masters how to shoot under this kind of lighting. i also donno how, if without flash. did u get any tips?

    this one a bit tough. i agree with bro thequestion, too much shadows. even with ps also very tough... but the shadows give the pic a melancholic feel leh. :) quite nice actually.

    just my personal view, i thought the dark portion was due to insufficient light (no?). bro arcticfox might have aimed the flash directly above the carrots which are brightly lit in the pic, and insufficient lighting for those near the top part of the pic. i agree with bro calebk, crop away those...

    Taking Pictures at the night safari

    tripod, wide aperture, go low on shutter speed, choose animals which are resting, and hell lot of patience. telephoto will help go close up to those animals further away, e.g. the lions. have fun shooting. at least try lor, even if quality sucks. one good shot is already worth the time and...

    bro sodium, if got extra $ and shaky hands, IS is the one. i myself have an IS, and i've got relatively shaky hands, i took 2 shots with low shutter speed, one with IS enabled, one with IS disabled, can definitely see the difference. it's worth the money, definitely. but of cos u must've extra $...
