no,its not about price discrimination, they are entitled to overlook these models who's portfolios do not match up to their expectations and look for qualified ones :cool:

I believe that even if the content on their sites are undesirable (if we were to be judgemental) , they were still taken by qualified photographers, who were themselves subjected to 'qualification' criterias. photography can be a fun thing, but to others it's a professional pursuit for both...

hrm maybe the ball room is really really dark. I had that problem with Canons in the past too. I just shot a night concert with my E3 outdoors with very limited light source (under the rain ! :heart: e3 hehe) and i didn't have any issues with focus.
