    Sorry, forget to attached the website address, here it is: Olympus 8080 - Firmware Bought 2 weeks ago should be new firmware cos' the firmware was release in July 2004. I guess you should be paying around 1.5K+ right?

    Go to the attached web site, you should be able to find out how to check the firmware in the update new firmware instruction. Or you're Kiasu a bit then install the new firmware. Btw when did you bought your camera?

    I don't think so the LCD can flip. As far as I know only C-5060 can flip but it's away your budget. Maybe you can try Canon A80, below your $700.
