Starting this thread for all 5D2 and 500D users who are experiencing a whole new world in video recording. I recently got a 500D just becoz of the video recording and I am blown by its output! It puts my consumer HD video cam (a HF100) to shame. Now I can use all my nice Canon lens...

I am wondering if anyone found the sample shots for the higher ISOs. I am just curious how they look like - esp the ISO 12800 shots....

Sounds like a very good lens for travelling! I am quite sure I will get one. F4 to F5.6!!! PLus IS! 55mm to 250mm very good range! Coupled with new high ISO capability of 40D!;)
