sorry to hijack, but i'm also considering this tc. can it be used with a macro lens? at 1:1 i will just increase working distance right? the magnification should remain unchanged?

i got this http://www.manfrotto.com/Jahia/site/manfrotto/pid/2368?livid=107&lsf=107&child=2 so far can do up to 1sec exposure no prob.. also depends on your lens if they say 10kg then its supposed to support max 10kg lo... if u think about it 10kg is not much also, your cam and medium lens...

i got a monopod.. i think if u dun do really longggg exp then it shld be fine...
