    S'pore, Asian civilization museum

museums have no worries about copyright issues. in fact they would be happy to have free advertisement unless the artist states otherwise. museums are dimly lit not because they want to save electricity. they could have just open the windows. the museum interiors are kept dim to reduce...

Where got sell paddings for bag?

i have no problem with spending some money on bags that can protect my camera. but the problem is that all the bags like lowepro, domke... scream "I am a Camera bag!" too much attention. i prefer my pasar malam bag with paddings and inserts. protects the camera from knocks as well as thiefs.

About Canon EF 28-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS USM

as can be seen on the distance scale, there is a macro mode that focus down to 0.5m but isn't very effective Canon specifies that the lens has a magnification of 0.19 which is rather poor compared to 28-105 which has 0.3.

About Canon EF 28-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS USM

UNsharpness due to poor lens is subjective. UNsharpness due to camera movement is NOT subjective. :bsmilie: 1/60s isn't too slow for 135mm but the IS helps. Edited: Yes, sharpness is subjective. There are even Carl Ziess users who find L lens not sharp enough. In that case there is no...

About Canon EF 28-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS USM

IS does work here I have tried the lens in a low light situation. It was a TV recording studio with lighting less then ideal for still photography and no flash during recording. I had head shots of the presenter @ 135mm on D30 (effectively 135 x 1.6 = 216mm). Shooting at f/5.6, 1/60s with IS...
