I highly recommend Fuji Instax mini cams instead (If u just wanna get an instax cam). Coz, it's difficult to and expensive to get polaroid film now. Instax mini is still ex, but more affordable lor. Cams cost $115 to $170 and film is $12 to $14.90 (retails at). Hope this helps :)

At the risk of sounding like a total amateur (which I am), what is a dedicated film scanner? I'm using the Epson printer/scanner which I got at the prev IT show for $300++ bucks. keke Actually mostly I scratched the negs with my scissors while cutting. Coz I didn't know that would happen...

The first roll off my Vivitar I did the scanning and cutting myself. So the negs got terribly scratched and dirty :( Anyways, constructive criticism very welcomed. Film: Kodak Gold 400 Pictures all taken on a moving vehicle (some stops at traffic lights) and in the early morning.

I changed developer and just collected my 6th roll yesterday. 35 prints!! and quite nice colours for some... I really wonder whether my neighbourhood developer screwed up my film. :cry: But nvm, I'm never gng back there.. Now that I found a more reliable one :D

Hi, Im sorry if i sound really ignorant, but does that mean I still have to get my rolls developed first, to get the negatives. Then I can use the recommended scanner to scan in the negatives? So i will save on converting from negs to digital (CD). Im considering just converting it...

U mean get a printer with a negative scanner? But I have to develop the negatives first izit? or can I scan from the roll directly after I finish? Not very sure :embrass:

Erm.. What do you mean by pre-select? I didn't know you can preselect? Do you have to develop the roll first and preselect from the negative or can I preselect then develop it? :confused: I'm sorry, I'm a super amatuer :embrass:

I bought my FE2 from there! *grinz* Just sent my 5th roll to be developed, when I was rewinding the file, it jammed then no traction. I thought it was rewinded all the way so I opened the back and sh*t, I exposed my roll :cry: Got some problem with the mechanism,i winded and rewinded...
