My wife is using an Ixus V3 and I have an Oly C2040Z. Come to think of it, the V3 does produce shots with more "red eyes" syndrome. However this is easier corrected using many image editors. I'm using PaintShop Pro and it works like a charm. There is a chap selling the V3 at $580. Check this...
