Why leave the car behind? I thought got own car more easier to drive to whatever location u want, instead of waiting for bus... or wasting time flagging taxi I think best is still MRT or own car............................................ :dunno:

I juz got a flash for myself recently so was comparing the two also.......... my take is: SInce you're using 10D body, the bigger 550EX (or its successor 580EX) is better for you...... see if u can get a second hand model, if not, I think 580EX will cost u around S$700... think you can get it...

Yah, if you're using a SLR with external flash, (i) get a diffuser (one of those white plastic that fits on top of the flash) to "soften" the flash...and (ii) rotate your flash to 45 degrees instead of at 90 degrees which is directly facing the subject's eyes If you're not using...
