hello, is called the magic arm kit, total about 200 plus from cathay photo. comes with the floor tripod, clamp, arm, and the baseplate thingy. the clamp is amazing, can almost clamp onto anything. :thumbsup:

you should just get the 2.8 non IS, it will work better. i am fortunate enough to use all the 4 70200 lenses extensively (not mine!), honestly, the 2.8 feels more shiok, the 2.8 IS is out of budget, so just settle for the next best. :) my personal 70200 is the 2.8 non IS.

had sort of a similar problem, but mine can fire off. my problem is the AF will just lock on by itself, without pressing any buttons. all the menu buttons cant work. send in to canon they changed the entire PCB, but still got problem. after 2nd send in ok liao. until now no problems. think...

if you do that i think the silver lining will get ripped off when you replace the gaffer, happened to a 1d3, thats way i scared liao lol.

do it! haha. the sides will form residue if it stays there for too long. or else, the gaffer should be good enough to keep the camera scratch free during all those hussles. there is nothing much to gaffer on the 1755, probably the hood only.

wah! how can i miss out the fun? haha. this shoot is pretty ancient, trying to take some dude doing bouldering indoors, off camera flash will be a good idea. the place is filled with mattresses, and with no assistants available, the clamp + magic arm becomes the best option :thumbsup...
