Still Life photo shoot for my class:
I got in trouble! So let me answer the following:
1. in what area is critique to be sought?
First time doing still life in a studio, so pretty much, I need to know what I should be doing.
2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work...
Southern California.
I think the last picture sucks because you can't see her face very well. I'll post a single frame. Maybe you'll change your mind.
I was focusing on the shadow in the top one.

Out of all of the Irina shots, I find yours to be the most glamorous. The posing is natural in these images, and the contrast between the background and the woman makes you focus on her more. These are magazine quality photos. Excellent work!
These are all such beautiful shots! I love how they are in normal day-to-day kind of places all dressed for a wedding. It gives a sponteneous, surreal feeling to the event. Exellent portrayal!
