Nikon 18-135mm servicing experience at NSC

recently went to NSC to service my D7000, as the MB-11 wasn't working. found out that there were loads to service for the body and the battery grip. NSC also informed me that my 18-135mm lens was full of fungus, and the price quoted was about $300, and they instead offered me a new 18-135mm lens...

"I have a camera so I can take pictures like a Professional"

actually, it's just your pride talking, but at least you can keep your cool to explain the skills needed to the teenager. Why be bothered if they think they can do it with their compact or handphone? people just need to learn to work within the limits of their camera, but I think she is probably...

Going to take photos in a garden in NZ - what lens to bring?

Buy a macro lenses just for a NZ biz trip? That's a good excuse to buy anything. Just make do with what you have. If just to record your trip, and get some photos if NZ gardens and park, your 18-200mm vr lenses will be sufficient.

    Nepal Itinerary - Any comments?

Not doing Annapurna base camp trek? Is this your first time in Nepal? It would depend on how experienced Trekker you are. At high altitude, you need to acclimatize. Your itenary looks fine.

How to keep black jeans black? And in good condition?

That's why they have promotion to trade in old pair for $50 off your new pair mah! I thought the point is to make the jeans faded and used? That's why some even cut holes on their jeans to look like beggars....;)

    D7000 users (Part 4)

Probably. I had a SB800 earlier but got stolen. Anyway was considering SB 600 or 800 at that time and went for the 800 instead cause of the better reach and controls. No regrets there.. I haven't seriously looked at the 700 or the 900/910 yet though

I think the point is that both party can be gracious about it, instead of acting sneaky or a bully about it. However, if u understand the other persons perspective, u might not take offense and can ask nicely....;)
