The upside is that in SUmmer, the colours are all out! you get to see colours, lotsa of them. You dun experience erratic weather that much. Activities are open all day long compared to in Spring or Winter time where activities are closed by 4PM. And maybe there will actually be people sunbathing...

Hi there, thanks for the comments, yeah i understand i am not doing justice to the places but I am still learning and just sharing, so before I jump in and do some post processing which I know nuts abt, my purpose is to get comments like yours to improve and learn hehe.

Christchurch, I went for the Port Hills Drive that takes us to the the top of Christchurch...beautiful drive. It is, there is a nice botanical gardens and lotsa of very english architecture and river. As for Tekapo, yeah i stay just on the edge of Tekapo~

we drove a 10yr old toyota corolla. Looks totally destroyed but does the job perfectly of moving us around haha.
