What about panning? i tried panning with 300mm and only caught upclose of the drivers and not the entire car. Cant see the fence though. And should I turn the image stablizer on or off when panning? If on, active or normal?

Beautiful photos.. Any secrets to share? I can't seem to get nice crisp photos like this.. Maybe there's something wrong with my panning technique.. Another frastrating issue is that as I'm standing behind the fence, i will capture the fence together with the cars. Any suggestions?
