    I just completed an extensive web search a week ago for the same software and after a long process I narrowed it down to "ProShow Gold"by PhotoDex. Their website is located at http://www.photodex.com/ and I think you can download a demo version of the software. It cost $70 for the full version...

    Maybe I am biased because I took it, I don't know. I like that there are several elements to it between the grass, trees, and course in the background. I also like how everything sits in the picture. No cropping or editing was done so to me, the composition just seems right.

    I am new to this forum and to the D3000, just bought mine on Friday. I have been a Canon user for some time shooting a Rebel XT but switched about a year ago to the D40 and now the D3000. I enjoy shooting this camera because it is easy to use, shoots great images, and is small in the hands...
