WHATS NEXT FOR M43, after Olympus, what future is left?

Wow, I have been enjoying your posts in this thread, first post on 26 June. I had not seen this thread earlier as I seldom venture to the Olympus forum as my Olympus setup is one body one lens (12-200) for travel, although I have another EP body with a pancake lens. My current systems are still...

The end of Olympus E-M1X 2021

Haha yes, I love to bring my EM1 out during holidays instead of my heavier and bulkier Canon and Nikon bodies. "Big and bulky micro 4/3" sounds like an oxymoron.

The end of Olympus E-M1X 2021

The film market may allow many niche players. The digital market seems to be very brutal, you have to be No.1, 2,or 3 unless you are Leica. I could be wrong though.

Hi, I have a 300 2.8 non-IS which I used as a birding lens for a very short time before buying a bigger lens. I am actually not thinking of selling it as it is such a beauty just to look at it and I collect a series of prime lenses just for fun. But if you really really need such a lens, please...

    Olympus E-M1X vs Panasonic S1

For full frame I will rather go with the more established Canon/Nikon/Sony rather than the Leica L-mount. Also the mirrorless S1 is heavier than most FF bodies, which is ridiculous. So I will choose the E-M1X.

The end of Olympus E-M1X 2021

While I am not a professional photographer, the whole purpose of MFT for me is the lightweight and compactness. So while I am attracted to a 500g EM1, a 1kg body is a turn-off for me.
