    Photos taken by Pentax cameras for tech. discussion - Season VI

    Hiya all been a long time since I last used a DSLR. Just took up a new interest in Tillandsia. One of mine just bloom and being an ex-extreme macro fan, had 10mins to spare, I just have to take some shots. Using my old Pentax K20D + Tamron 1.4x + Sigma 28mm reverse setup + pop-up flash. The WB...

    I like this shot, but I feel can make the sepia effect better, also a bit more pp on the face, as the way the face is turned, that angle will make the lower chin look fatter. Also the shadow area can be improved, kinda hidding her beautiful eyes. Just my worthless 2cents. Did a 3min pp on...

    Opinions of 1.5x,1.7x,2.0x AF teleconverters

    IIRC, 2 most after AF TC are Pentax-F 1.7x and Tamron-F 1.4x Pz-AF MC4.

    You just haven't get used to it yet. Normally if I can't find any insects in bushes, i'll sit near by, close my eyes and count to 5 or 10, then open eyes to start search. It's pretty hard not to have any insects around bushes in Singapore^^;

    Not advisable to go for wholesalers, best get from those cheapo shops which stocks come from China. They are often more cheap than those specialised in selling fibre optics for the industry.;) Wonder if Daiso toy section has this;p

    Interesting DIY Fring

    If only it's as easy. Think most of us who are interested in this optic fibre project are those who takes at 1:1 or much bigger magnification. We need at least 1/90s (1:1 can be slower) and working with f8 or more narrow aperture, if possible at ISO100/200. For me I'll be using the optic...

    Interesting DIY Fring

    Was telling otc a few days ago, that I'd been wanting to do this optic fibre light since I first saw it a while ago. But no time to hunt for the optic fibre, woosin if you do find some good ones let me know. I was thinking about going GM trading to see if they have cheap ones from toys/displays.

    Trying to work on my composition, but seems to be harder than I'd expected at such magnification. My hands also not as steady as it was 6+ months back:bsmilie: These shots are without crop, too bad some legs got cut off^^;
