Thanks for the comments airforce1 & jonne. The lighting was very low and everything was happening so fast, I just manually set the exposure and pre-focus. Forgot about metering settings... Thanks for the advice Jonne.

Thanks Arcanic. I was lucky there was the old man doing some work there. And when he walked through the lane, I just snapped away. Too bad about the blown sky though. Didn't know how to avoid that.
