try going to P&G photographic center (https://pgcameras.co/) over at adelphi or peninsula. or camera workshop (also at peninsula). but i suspect their advice would be to replace the camera as the repair costs might be more expensive than just getting another 550D.

did you try calling the number of the shop?

you have to go to the service centre. in fact, for most modern digital cameras in the last 10 years (?), manufacturers have removed the ability for users to self-replace the internal clock battery. it used to be just inside the battery door. but now i think it is wedded to the main PCB.

yup! my go-to place for repairs. their other shop is at peninsula shopping centre just opposite benphoto, currently running by the son. :)
