Agree. Mainly coz is F1.4, you have to be extremely precise. The test chart looks slanted slightly. You may want to re-setup on the vertical wall and and camera on tripod or horizontal with camera above it. We're talking about a tiny softness here so precision is very impt

sorry, cant tell this way. coz the shooting technique over-rides everything abt quality. Place ur camera on a proper tripod and take these pictures again. but i assure u, there's loss of quality with such items. however, the good news is if u just use it for leisure purpose and posting on web...

Yes, 50mm is always there in the pack.

all shoot in infinite focus and stop it down (ie smaller aperture) also, remember if u're using DSLR or any digicam, u need some post-processing (ie USM)

sharpening & unsharp mask works differently. but if a photo is soft due to misfocus, no amt of USM will help. actually, whether DSLR or PnS, the photo techniques are the same.
