I listened to the 28-70 f/2 autofocus noise in this review (with EOS R) ... hope the R5 has located the mic differently and the sound is not so obvious. otherwise its probably a deal breaker for me (I'll would prefer to have 3 silent primes rather than a supernoisy 28-70)

i was looking at switching from canon because of lack of IBIS to the a9ii but the R5 looks great and the 28-70 f/2 can replace 3 of my EF mount primes. Also, can i reuse my old 580ex II flash?

i feel that image stabilisation is essential for handheld hd video, this is from my experience of using the canon hf100. The Hf100's image stabilisation is really good. for video, high shutter speed doesn't prevent shaky video :)

I work near KT and live near Miao Laan so I have access to 2 good photolabs. Printed some S8R and they turned out very well. Sunday opening is a plus. Will definitely go back.

if you rotate the flash head of 550ex, the preflash is cancelled and I use it to trigger my nikon SB-26 and Sigma 500 on optical slave mode without problems. Is it the same with 580ex / 580ex II?
