Used to have this until it started giving problems, think it's because it was dropped twice and lens fully saliva lub'ed by my grandkid.
Very very good as a travel camera. The new version is without built-in GPS, little more cumbersome with the phone app GPS but works.
Lens max aperture bit small but it's a compromise to get you the long reach and sharper pictures.
No complaints, was a hard decision switching to the RX100m6.

Thanks for the review and feedback. Am using the G7x but prefer the HX-99 due to it's form factor. Just prefer Canon's touch screen and also ease to connect with the mobile devices.
