Hi wolvie77,
Excellent picture and effort.
Can I know what location at ECP did you manage to capture this and the settings you used?
This image is a compilation of 100+ pictures?

Thanks.

May I know what settings did u use to take the MW from ECP? I have tried taking the MW in light polluted areas before and it never turn out as well as yours? What kind of post processing did u do?

Hi! sorry for the late reply. Not so active in Clubsnap after the revamp cause most times i view from the phone app. which is sorely missing right now. This is a single frame out of many i took. Taken around 6am skies was clear with no clouds or the moon. i use the app stellarium to track where the milky way is. shutter speed i think i was playing with bulb mode tried 10, 15, 20, 30 secs. iso 100. Aperture: f2.8. Was using a Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 lens on my Canon 80D. Hope this answers your questions and good luck hunting for it.

Hi! I used the ETTR (Exposed To The Right) method. I tried at a few locations in Singapore like out of my home corridor, Marina Barrage, Punggol waterway area. All did not come out as nice as this. But my friend did manage to get a decent one over punngol late one night. He bought a special filter to cancel off some of the light cast from the city lights. I shot this milkway with my Canon 80D, ISO 100, Shutterspeed i was playing with 10,15,20,30 secs. Just need to Expose to the right and not to have blown out areas where no data will be captured. Then i played around with editing in photoshop camera raw with the vibrance, saturation, shadows, highlights, dehaze. After chasing it for many years. I find that you need luck to get a decent milkyway in Singapore. I suggest you can try the southern shores Since theres minimum light pollution & to wait till the milkway is right above you.
