Just went back to the service centre today, now they say they'll provide a quote before repairing....

Helping my colleague to check., are there alternative repair place/centres for this camera. Can’t be switched on, and he tried with other batteries already. He was told by the service centre that they’ll assess and repair the camera but….. they will not call him after the assessment to check...
