Amazon JP selling the body at 140k yen. Lens kit 175k.

Handled the gx8 sample model (no electronics) yesterday. Feels more hefty and looks bigger, but translates to a better feel in hand. Very in line with what other hands on reviews have said.

Amazon JP states release date as 20 Aug. Not too long a wait...Hopefully it will be a similar rollout timing for SG.

As suspected, the OA series of apps to use with the Air is not available in Google. Play store zzz.

The Olympus air currently only available via olympus jp website. Saw the body only versions backordered till mid April. Wanted to pick one up earlier last week as I was in Tokyo. I saw a man using it at Chidorigafuchi. Looks cool. Another thing is the app - not sure if region locked to JP app...
